Sixteen guests from seven countries brewed coffee on sand and shared the fortune-telling tradition, hosted in three languages.
We had guests from seven different countries, from Japan to Brazil. Turning a cezve in hot sand was a new experience for everyone.
The fortune-telling session was the liveliest part of the day — the conversations that came out of the symbols went on for a long while. Our guests took their gift coffee home with them.
