At the heart of Ottoman tile art, you produce your own ceramic piece while learning İznik and Kütahya motifs. We begin with the history of the tulip, carnation, rumi and hatayi motifs.
You then choose between a plate, bowl or tile that has already been bisque fired, and paint your designs with traditional underglaze colours. Our instructor demonstrates every technique, from holding the brush to drawing fine outlines.
After firing at 980°C your work becomes food safe and ready to use. You can collect it from the workshop after roughly 10 days, or have it shipped within Türkiye and abroad.
