Guided by a professional perfumer, you will explore the three layers of a fragrance — top, heart and base notes — from understanding the scent pyramid to building your own formula.
The workshop opens with a session inspired by the smells of İstanbul: the spices of the Egyptian Bazaar, the salt breeze of the Bosphorus, the linden trees of Galata. You then smell more than 60 natural and synthetic essences one by one to map your own preferences.
In the final part our perfumer works with you one to one to balance your formula, and we fill your 50 ml glass bottle. You name your perfume and design its label yourself. Your formula is kept on file — we can reproduce it whenever you like.
