About this workshop

Set on the Urla wine route, this workshop begins with an introduction to the Aegean's native grape varieties: Bornova Misketi, Urla Karası and Foça Karası.

With a sommelier you taste five different wines and prepare mezes for each using Aegean herbs — golden thistle, chicory and wild fennel. You learn the balance of acidity, tannin and fat behind good pairing through practice.
